Burners for steam- and hot water boilers
Pillard burners designed for liquid, gaseous and pulverized fuels are used in boiler plants that utilize steam and/or hot water boilers. The term ‘steam and hot water boiler' is a generic description for the various boiler types on the market. Water tube boilers are usually designed to use liquid, gaseous or pulverized fuels. For this type of boiler Pillard burners can be positioned as front firing, tangential firing, opposite firing, vertical downwards firing and vertical upwards firing. Pillard supports grate fired boilers as well as stationary or circulating fluidized bed firing by the use of ignition burners, respectively start-up burners and/or supporting burners. Fire tube boilers, given their compact size and high thermal capacity, pose special requirements in the selection of a firing technique because of the noxious emission and flame control. We have the ideal solutions for you.
Burners for process gas reheating
The heating of various sorts of process gas (e.g.: air, inert flue gases, turbine exhaust gases, etc.) also fall under the scope of our activities. PILLARD have made significant contribution towards the development of supplementary firing that generates lower pollution levels in cogeneration plants as requested by the power generating industry. The heating of inert flue gases in a DeNOx – plant requires burners with specific qualities and options. For such application - also for air heating - , we offer our Pillard induct burners.

Given by the versatile applicability of Pillard burners, we can fulfill the requirements of both manufacturers and endusers of thermal heaters.

We also offer special solutions in this highly specialized branch: In the manufacture of aluminium, aluminium-hydroxide is calcified into aluminium-oxide (this takes place in calcination kilns, following the fluidizing bed principle).
